Your data stays on your device.

HabitCents keeps your habit and spending data on your device. We do not run a server-side database of your expenses, habits, or streak logs, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

None of your financial or habit data leaves your phone. Expenses, habits, and streak logs are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. There is no account to create and no server-side user database. We cannot see your entries, and we have nothing to hand over even if asked.

The habitcents.com waitlist form collects one thing: the email address you enter to register for early access. We use it only to contact you about HabitCents, for example to let you know when the app is ready. We do not sell or share this email with third parties, and we do not use it for ad targeting.

The HabitCents app does not currently include any analytics or tracking SDK.

This website uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic at an aggregate level, such as page views and load times. This does not use cookies to track you individually across sites, and it does not build a profile of you.

When in-app purchases become available, they will run through Apple's In-App Purchase system. HabitCents never sees or stores your card number; Apple handles the transaction.

Because your habit and expense data lives on your device, you control it directly. Deleting the app deletes the data. There is no cloud copy for us to hold onto.

If you're in Canada, this section is written with PIPEDA in mind: you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it. Since the only personal information we hold is the email address you gave us for the waitlist, contact us and we will update or remove it.

HabitCents is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
